Default Power steering leak

I did a search and found plenty of writeups and answers to this question. Well I replaced my pump today, I put water in the reservoir and it did not leak, lines are alright. Well I put the whole deal back on and there is a leak by the reservoir. Maybe the Oring didn't seat? I don't think the reservoir is under pressure. When I pull the cap off it sounds like I opened a pop bottle and it stops drippin. Whats going on?

Explain why you put water in it again?

lol I dont have water in the actual power steering system, I just figured itd be the easier liquid to check for leaks with in the reservoir. Just forget I put water in it... Any suggestions or reasons why it may be leaking where the reservoir meets the pump? I put a new O ring in the hole and then put the reservoir on, maybe the O-ring didn't seat?
