If I hold the RPM up there a good ways it is fine..??? I made sure the plug wires were all on right and where there sapose to go..?? And everything is the way it is sapose to go.???? ANY other ideas??? I have a set of wires to put on it but I havent yet put them on..??? HELP!!!! Thanks

When is the last time you had a serious scan and tune on it?
You may be dealing with some code issues after replacing the opti & rotor with some 'fine' tune needed.
Sounds like its running way too lean so you need to keep the rpms up so it won't sputter.

Also, when is the last time you changed the plugs. With the rest you may also be looking at a valve not firing properly - you have a batch fire not a sequential fire so you'd notice it at lower rpms on sequential vs batch.

ew... autolites may be the problem... Tr55's or just plain AC delco's are the way to go..

Id bet money you have a plug wire not on the right plug =P
