Headlight Dimming Problems Please Help!

I have a problem. I cannot dim my headlights or brighten them unless my steering column is tilted all the way forward. Does anyone know how to fix this. I commute early in the morning and deer are very bad in my area and I do not want to smash my newly aquired 99 Z-28 6 Spd Convertible. I had to look for 6 mths to find this option package in driving distance. Thanks for any help you can give me. Also, I have trouble with my accessory switch on my key switch. Will not turn on accessories.

sounds like a wiring problem at mulit function switch. just my .02

you can feel it doesnt click unless its tilted forward completely. Any ideas.

This sounds like the rod connecting the clicker to the multifunction lever is loose. Almost like the thirdgen days with the 90-92 cars with airbags.

which end is loose?
how do you get to it, etc?
