Need some A/C advise
Need some A/C advise o.k. my compressor is now making that chattering noise so it's eventually going to blow any day now. So does anyone have one for sale and does anyone do "good" a/c work on the side?
I had an a/c tech check it and it's holding good pressure / no leaks and all but I guess the bearings in the compressor is going out. Is there a way to just replace the bearings before it breaks instead of having to buy the whole compressor, dryer, etc.
I found on carpart.com I can buy the bearing (links below)so I was wondering if anyone ever replaced this and it fixed the problem?
