Default battery problem

has anyone ever encountered a leaking battery ? Mine seems to be leaking from the caps; after I run the car hard I pop the hood and it's wet all over the battery but the caps are all tight ? Anybody ever run into this problem and what is the fix; battery is not even a year old(I should have gotten an Optima or maintenance free).

If its a delco then yepp i had that problem with 4 thou miles on the clock. The battery terminals started leaking then just fell off.
word of wisdom replace the battery befor it leaks over your engine bay and eats everything it touches....

Don't know what's going on if it's leaking from the caps, terminals yes - but if it's only a year old it should be under a free replacement warranty - bring it back.
