Tilt wheel slack

Tilt wheel slack I just FAILED inspection because my tilt wheel was loose. 
I have taken off the pad for the wheel(disconnected air bags) but I dont know what to tighten to take out the slack. Any help. The place was going to charge me for 280 just to fix it. 
Any help would be great and I need it quick since I cant drive my car with no steering.

Believe it or not it is a huge job to tighten that thing. You need to tear the whole column down, behind everything there are four bolts that get loose, you need several special tools to do the job, and there is a possibilty a few springs and preloaded pieces could fly out at you if you're not careful.
my 94 is like this.. and i have a 96 column to put in (doesnt have the slack) but its a PITA todo this stuff with all the connections and such and ya those 4 bolts are hidden like a motha plus i cant even get the wheel off my 96 i bent the wheel puller damn GM making stuff inserviceable

Yeah I talked to my next door neighbor and he said to take it down to his shop and he will pass inspection. He said that the shop that I first took it to were being dicks because there was hardly any slack in the wheel. Thanks for all the help.

take it to airpark auto, i think its off of richardson rd. which is in the airpark and have a guy named steven do your inspection... He's a good friend of mine and tell him brandon sent you to get your inspection.
