Removal of DS Fender
Removal of DS Fender Does anybody have any exploded diagrams that would help me out with this? I've searched everywhere & can't find anything. Is there any tricks that I should know about? For a '01 Camaro.
On both LT1s I've replaced fenders on, it was a breeze. After the bumper is off (not sure if this is required, but I had to do it as I was replacing bumper anyway) there are a few bolts under the hood, pull out the inner fender wells with a few bolts and screws/retainer clips (which have a high probability of breaking) and then I think 3 or 5 bolts that aren't visible to the naked eye. If I recall, one can be seen when the door is open from the driver's seat, and two bolt to the underside of the bumper.
It's a snap, just be patient and be careful with that thing! Especially if it's freshly painted, bending it can ruin your paint.

Take off the inner fender and you'll be able to see where all the other bolts are. Kind of hard to explain, but theres 2 or 3 to the bumper inside in front, the ones inside the engine bay, one in back inside, 2 on the bottom to the rocker area, maybe one beside the headlight... havent had a 98+ camaro since 2000, so not sure 100%
