Default oil pressure sensor leaking?

i was on my way home yesterday in my bird when i notice my oil pressure drop to 0, i got out of the car and say oil dripping so i pop the hood and check it out. first thought was the oil filter, not it, its coming from the sensor right above it. will a new sensor fix this problem and stop the leak, this is the only place its leaking, right around the green plastic and rubber rings where the oil pressure sensor is located on a 99 v6 firebird. im on my way to autozone to try the repair this morning.

A new O-ring and Teflon tape on the threads. Should fix you right up.
