Default service engine light on

the dealership i bought my car from does not want to fix my car and i bought it with a 3 yr warranty they said it is a total of 1600 for 2 02 sensors, gas cap, air pump, catalytic converter!

$1600? - shouldn't you just need to pay a deductable? Anyway, get the codes read and post them up. 02's aren't expensive, gas cap probably isn't bad, air pump/codes can be deleted if you don't have a visual state inspection, and cats are covered under the federal emissions warranty free for 8rs/80K. What kind of dealership?

All of that stuff is covered under emissions warranty

If it's a GM warranty, tell the dealership to f*ck themsleves and then call up the GM warranty people. As far as I know all GM extended warranties cover everything except wear & tear parts, and I don't consider any of that stuff wear and tear. If it's not a GM warranty, what were you thinking?
