Default Need Help With Headlight Prob

Ok i read the sticky about the 180 quik fix for headlight noise im in the middle of doing it right now but i just need some questions answered really quik. ok how does the bracket hook back up to the motor itself when the bolt that was on it is now on the other side? and if you flip the gear the little cap will not go back on it?? i cant really explain it to well. if you've done this b4 then please help me or call me i dont care 205-370-6333.

you take the little pole off the gear dude flip the gear and then glue the thing back together..it should take you about 30 min to get it all done

ok you see no one told me this so i was stuck bc the bolt was pointing the wrong way. and the bracket wouldnt go on it. so do i need super glue or what. the sticky didnt say anything about this it just said flip it and put it back in so i tried it and now its all taken apart bc i was stuck and i looked back on the sticky and was like wtf

The whole idea was to just turn the gear 180 degrees then putting it all back together. I opted for the brass gear which still got eaten away and grinds like crazy. But yeah its just turn the gear 180 degrees then put it back together with some epoxy, then let it dry for a while to make sure its hardend real good.
