Default Not as easy as I thought

Ive been without a/c for about a year and a half I figured it was the compressor or something else expensive. Anyway, I went to try some stop leak and found out that a hose that I had kinda bent out of the way while replacing the radiator is leaking. I opened it up to see if there was some type of o-ring I had to replace. And it looks to be metal on metal??? and the connection is as tight as it will go. Can somebody help shed some light on my dilemma. Should be a simple fix.
I dont think it is the o-ring. I think I actually broke the tubing when I bent it out of the way.
Is this tubing supposed to be one piece or not.
If so where can I get another (what is it called) or can I use some JB weld?

I would just replace the line or try to find one in a salvage yard. I can't remember, but I do think it is suppose to be all one piece and you just bolt it down to the top of the condensor.

I wouldn't jb weld it. It's under a lot of pressure. If it blows it could cause some issues. Especially if it blows when you are having it recharged. It's your ultimate decision, but jb welding it isn't the right way to fix it. It's very unsafe, please do it the right way. The line can't cost much and a salvage yard should have one. There's lots of guys that ditch there ac on the boards. Put an add in the parts wanted section and see if you can find one. If I had one I'd send it to you just so you don't make a major mistake!

Yeah I've kinda decided to forego the JB weld....could be too dangerous. I went to autozone and they had it for $79. I found a slavage yard that will sell it to me for $10. I didnt know the line was so delicate... I guess I know now.
