Default Turn Signal

My driver side turn signal doesn't work properly. When you press the turn signal down to indicate turning left, the light stays on. When I look at the back of the car, the yellow light just stays on. The front sometimes stays on or just turns off. The passenger side works fine. I thought it might be the turn signal switch but I would think both sides wouldnt work, right? I checked the bulbs and they are fine. Any ideas.

Thanks

I just had that problem last week. Its either a bad blinker unit which is located under the dash or a corroded electrical connector. Mine was severly corroded so i had to clean it out with acetone/electric cleaner anda nail file. It worked after. Iheard you can get the connectors at autoparts stores but i had no luck.

If the bulbs are good, then replace the turn signal switch in the steering column. Check out Summit and Gyrhead for GM Performance parts at 1/2 the cost of dealer prices with the same AC-Delco part.
