Exclamation Hot & Humid weather

as you see the location where I live,It's too hot and humid in here ,,August !! is it bad for the car as a daily driving..does this weather affects engine performance !!! or should I drive it only during weekends !! I feel the car is running like crap in hot weather..like it's loosing some hp .hot and humid air gets into the intake ...

temp reaches 104F

what do u guys think !

It's not bad but in the crappy air the car will tend to feel like a dog. Feels like it's less responsive. Colder more condensed air produces more power.

The car should be able to handle 104°F no problem. But, like 2001 White WS6 says, that hot and humid air doesn't burn as well so you don't have the HP you would normally have in cooler weather. All my cars have done the same thing. They seem to run best on spring and fall mornings. Your probably running the A/C like crazy so don't be surprised if that doesn't last 10 years.

it can easily handle it...just don't beat on it. My car feels a lot different when its super hot out.

I've daily driven my 01 Z28 in Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Nevada and death valley temps in California. So, no worries brother as long as you keep the cooling system maintained.
The weather should not effect the performance to the point of it running like crap. Maybe it is time for a tune up and all that jazz..

Damn I feel like going on another Road Trip
