Electrical gremlin Looking for the source of an electrical gremlin. Anyone know where the part is that sends the signal letting the car know the door is open? I looked for a little button/plunger type part in the door jam, but couldn't find anything. I'm assuming that's the source of the problem because I was standing next to the car with the door wide open (keys in ignition all of the way) and the chime was coming on and off on its own. Also, I noticed the interior dome light coming on and off while parked the other night (no keys this time and door closed). Any ideas?
