HELP! My cruise control is not working HELP! For some reason my cruise control is not working...for my job and for my school i have to travel about 40 miles daily many times more...for the past few weeks i have not been using cruise control becuase of heavy traffic...but today i tried and it is not working! i checked the fuses that are supposed to control it and they all check out...could there be a vacum leak? could a plug have fallen out? where should look? or should i just take it to a shop? PLEASE HELP

Re: HELP! My cruise control is not working HELP! Check the switches on the clutch, brake and parking brake lever. If any of these switches are open, this will "cancel" your cruise even before you set it.

Re: HELP! My cruise control is not working HELP! The clutch and brake pedals have switches mounted under the dash next to the linkage for both pedals. The parking brake switch is mounted inside the console. The switch for the parking brake also activates the DRL's so if your DRL's aren't working with the brake lever down, that's a good sign that it's the parking brake.
