Default Lost keys...

Well, I don't have any keys to the door of my Camaro. Just the remote. How can I have a key made to fit my locks? Thanks.

I would imagine that a GM dealer can get you one. I know when you buy a new F-body, the dealer would give you a tiny metal tab and a paper tab that have the code to make a new door and ignition key. But I think they can also do it based on your VIN number. You will likely need to show proof of ownership if you just give them a VIN though.

usually when i worked at saturn they take the VIN down and look it up in a book and they punch out a new key takes a little time but its worth it to have an extra key incase your battery dies. i believe they only need a drivers license. thats all they needed at saturn but bring your ignition key and fob in to show them it couldn't hurt

Take your car registration and photo ID into a GM dealership. They can cut you a new key in 5 min. We do it all the time at work for folks that have lost their keys. They can look up the key code on the GM dealerworld website and use their manual key cuttuer to make a new one.
