should i do anything extra when i switch for reguler 5 - 30 to royal purple??

I would monitor fuel mileage, if nothing else than for curiosity's sake. I also noticed a HP improvement over M1, although not much. Some magazines have swapped out all lubricants (eng/trans/rear) and noticed 11RWHP, which is reasonably significant for the minimal cost and effort involved.
