Default Car Running BAD!

Well my car has been running like crap for the past few weeks. About a week ago i started the car, pulled out and the car bogged and would not accelerate properly. Soon after the SES light begun to blink. I drove about 15 more miles and the car seemed to return to normal. Now this seems to be happening everytime i start the car, but it seems to stop after about 10-20 miles of driving. This also has happened to me about a month ago once after a heavy rain, but i figured it was just my O2 sims that got wet? Now im confused..i figured the SES means misfiring, but does anyone have an idea on what this is?

Thanks guys!

If the SES light was blinking, then you had/have a serious misfire. There are multiple things that can cause that, some harder to check that others.

First thing to do on the road to repair is getting the PCM scanned and see exactly what codes you're getting. I'm sure you'll be seeing P0300, but hopefully there will be something else more specific as well.

I have the same problem! it hesitates to gain speed and shift normal within the 1000 to 2500 rpm range. i took it to a really good mechanic that i know and he told me that the oxygen sensors got wet. i kinda believe him cause this only happens when it rains. i took it to autozone to get the codes checked and it tells me that the 2 front oxygen sensors are bad. so i dont know I havent got mines fixed yet cause when its not wet outside it runs normal. if i find out anything i'll let you know
