Need a new oil I think KEEP IN MIND THE CAR IS AN LT1!
Right now I run Mobil1 15W-50 (The one for high heat, high reving, boosted engines).
Dad runs it in his Turbo Porsche.
I got to thinking that my car for one get about 1k miles a year (Saturday driving) and they are pretty hard miles. I have a tune and a 160 t-stat so the car does not get hot but the car is driven hard.
I also am runing a Frame Race filter, my oil pressure went up a little using this filter when compared to a new FRAM sure grip (what I used to use).
Looking for sugestions, the car is not driven in the winter or anything like that. Don't mind changing the oil every year, car does not burn or leak a drop of oil, also I don't care about the cost. A plug and oil change for me costs $50 right now and I don't mind it.
I would also like to stick with Mobil 1 if I could.

go with the castrol, and i dont know about the 50....u need to change it also more then once a year regardless of the mileage...oil overtime breaks down, change it ever 3 months if your not going to drive it that much
