So I go to start my car today, and the battery is dead. I jump start it, and once it fires the car is ideling at 2300-2500 rpm. Ya goose the gas a bit and it goes up all the way to 4K and slowly starts to come down back to 2300-2500 rpm. The engine is also surging a bit. I raise the hood and I see a bit of smoke coming from the A/C lines where it enters a small insulated box on the fire wall. The line is also hot to the touch. I shut the car off for a minute or so and fire it again, and the idle is fine. I turn the A/C on and smoke comes out the vents with a burning plastic smell. I let the car run with the A/C on for 45 minutes. The condenser and lines get ice cold as they should.

Anybody ever have this happen to them??? and what might it be???
