My voltage gauge is pretty wrong. It shows my car idles with it a little above the red mark, but when I check the battery with a multimeter it shows a good 14 volts. Anyone every seen anything like this before? Im thinking the gauge is bad or that the factory one is just a piece of poop like alot of them are. Alternator is about 3 months old and a good friend works a rebuilding plant and it tested good. Red-top Optima for battery which tests fine.
