Default code p0446

I am continuously throwing this code when ever I turn my heater on. P0446 (evap emissions control system vent circuit malfunction). Any help with this would be appreciated.

The thing that gets me is that the heater control is totally unrelated to the EVAP vent solenoid....with the exception of the vacuum lines. If you got them crossed or not connected correctly behind the manifold you could very well get that code.

Yes all the vacuum lines are connected properly. I recently just had the intake off to have ported, so I know all the lines are were they belong.

Did it do it before you had the intake off?

Yes it did it before, but I thought it was a coincidence with it happening when I turned the heat on. Now that it is getting cooler out I have been using the heater alot more at night and the code pops up as soon as I turn it on.

Try this, disconnect the vacuum line behind the manifold that goes through the firewall to the heater control. Apply vacuum and let it sit for a few minutes and see if you have any leaks. A leaking vacuum line may also cause this.
