Car wont start(help me =( Alright, nothing crazy happened since the last time I drove it, I left it parked for a while, it was prolly alittle low on gas. Anyway, the car has been known to lose power and have to be jumped occasionally. I tried to start it like 3 days ago, and it had low batt symptoms.. I tried to charge it, but it wouldn't start. I figured maybe it was out of gas or something. I went, put a gallon of gas in it, and I tried to charge it again.. I think I hear it priming, and it turns for a sec, and completely feels like it doesn't have enough power. Once it even sounded like it had a little fire, but didn't start. I've tried moving the battery all around, and moving connections, it charges enough to where accesories work fine, and everything, but it just wont start.. any idea? I need this thing up by wednesday =(
Bad battery won't hold a charge.
If it's not turning over fast, it's probably the battery.
Try jumping it. If it jumps and works fine, it's the battery.
If it won't turn over with a jump, it may be the starter.
If it jumps and runs for a while then dies, it could be the alternator and/or battery.
If it won't start with a jump, it's something else.
