strange at certain RMP'S

strange at certain RMP'S im not shure if this it the right section to ask about my problem but ok here goes.
at ~ 2200rpms my acceleration dies and then pics up at higher rpm. this has nothing to do with throttle position and just always hapens @ about 2200 rpm and then before 2600rpm the acceleration pics up again there is so much lac in acceleration that i can feel it and i can see it on the passengers head when it stops pulling back and goes forward and then goes back again when the acceleration picks up.
anyone have any ideas of whats wrong?

Well after having the car for about 3 months now i finaly found out what the problem was. i just took the MAF of and gently massaged it with a Q-tip and took all of the black soot of and voila problem fixed. i have a sneeking suspicion that my 0300code will also disapear but im not shure about that one
