Default Optima battery a direct drop-in?

The Optima site says that the Red Top requires a "puck" adapter to allow the bottom mount bolt to secure the batter.

Do these puck adapters come with the battery or are they needed?

optima is a gel-type sealed battery, so it wont leak. It also provides better holding of charge and produces good starting power. I have an optima in my car and wont go back to a regular style battery. Of course, I have aftermarket speakers and 2 subs in the car also, so that helped my decision when I decided to go Optima.
