Refilling coolant

on my trans am ws6, it says there is a "special filling procedure" or something like that, for the coolant? whats this procedure? or do i just pour the antifreeze into the radiator?, thanks in advance

After replacing my tstat I just let the car idle and kept filling, opened took more, kept filling...just make sure you get all the air out.

I just replased my thermostat and the coolant. I filled it and then started the car and let it idle for a few. Turn it off and then checked too see if i need more and did.

I added some more and then took it for a drive. Not getting too hard on the car right away. Just a cruise. parked the car till it cooled checked it again and it was fine.
