Default FLP LT Headers

I recently bought a '98 Camaro SS. The guy I bought it from claims it has "FLP Long Tube Headers" on it. I have been trying to find pictures of the FLP LT headers to confirm what I have, but so far I have not found any. From what I can tell, on FLP's web site ( www.flp2win.com ), the picture of the Dynatech LS1 Supermaxx Headers look like what I have.

My question is, I tried to change the oil today, but I could not remove the oil drain plug. I was able to loosen it all the way, but could not remove it because it was wedged up against the header. Is there is trick to removing the oil drain plug with the header in place, or do I have to loosen the left side header in order to change the oil? What is the easiest way to remove the plug? I also noticed that the car has a special oil filter and not the stock Mobil 1 filter. Is a special filter required to fit with the headers, or was this probably just done by choice?

Thanks for the help!
