I'd correct both. P0161 is an 02 B2 S2 code, probably not critical, but P1258 is Engine Coolant Overtemperature - Protection Mode Active - you can look them up at gearchatter.com

something is going on with the fuel with the bank 2 code....thats what that refers to...check the fuel trim and see what its running, might have a air leak or 02 sensor going bad....cats running good?

I have a cut-out so could the problem be linked to this?

Should I get my radiator flushed and filled? My low coolant light just went on today to but the temperature of the engine stays fine. Also.. how do I check the fuel trim?

the cutout will have no effect on your codes unless placed before cats , the coolant light is just the sensor that on fbodies tends to go out alot....just unplug it, you can tell when the fluid gets low cause itll start to heat up or you should be checking your fluids reguarly anyway....so like i said just disconnect it.....fuel trims can be checked with a scanning/editing suite like EFI live...
