burnt coolant
burnt coolant whenever i get on the car and then come home afterwards and park, i get a burnt coolant smell. it lasts for about 30 seconds to a minute after the car is off. could the radiator cap releasing pressure do that?
i dont have a bad headgasket i checked. car has been overheated a few times before me but did no damage. heat sits around 1/2 when driving and between 1/2 and 3/4 when sitting in traffic.

It's possible to have a pinhole leak that needs the engine revs up to show itself. Such leaks (obviously) can be very hard to find at first, and it doesn't take much to make the stink.
Trace all your hoses and look for the evidence. You gotta remember you have a lot of wind working around there out on the road that can easily blow any leaks back onto hot surfaces.
