Question At Wits End.......... Please help

Ok i know this is an ls1 forum but ive tried everything and cant figure this out

I have a 97 s-10 2wd 4.3l vortec.

Heres the problem:
It was hesitating real bad so i figured bad plugs and wires(been awhile since last tune up) so i changed them.

It ran great problem solved right.....about a day later i threw a low voltage to my mass airflow sensor...looked under the hood and i forgot to plug it back in.

As soon as i pluged it in the truck died.So i bought a new maf sensor...That didnt work...It runs great with it not pluged in but as soon as you do it hesitates real bad again

Any suggestion where i should go for here???

Maybe you need to let it idle for a bit with the maf plugged in before you try driving it.

Is the motor running when you plug the maf in???? I would diconect the battery for a few minute to let the computer reset. Then make sure the maf is pluged in the start. good luck
