Leaking Water Pump, options?

Leaking Water Pump, options? Car has been running hot for several months now... and ive tried things on and off to remedy it, with little luck. Well today when I was under the car changing the oil.... out of nowhere a few drops of coolant started to drip onto the ground... followed by a few more. This is weird because ive always checked the ground for coolant ever since the car was running hot, and have never found a drop. Also the car hadnt been started for about 2 days prior to this. I cant see exactly where its leaking... but its damp around the bottom of the pump, and the coolant was dripping down onto the belts before getting to the ground.
Anywho, whats my best bet? Is it worth taking the pump off to have a better look and see if I can find the leak more accurately? What is the most common cause of leakage, and odds that its repairable? Should I begin searching for a new/rebuilt pump and just swap them out the same day? The car is a DD, so the more timely option would probably work best... thanks for any help!

My car has also been running a little hotter than normal, about 210. I first thought it was the fans, then the thermostat, then the waterpump. The fans were good, I replaced the thermostat, and the waterpump.
If you are sure that it is coming from the waterpump and not the thermostat, I would suggest you order a waterpump and wait for it to come in, then swap it out. It shouldn't take you more than a couple of hourse for you to do it, if you know what you are doing. I got my waterpump at NAPA, completely new and with a lifetime warranty for 175, comes as a complete replacement with gaskets. If you order it tomorrow by 10:00 am they should have it at your store by no later than 3:00 pm the same day.
Also check to make sure the front of your radiator isn't being obstructed by anything.
