i heard from somewhere that if your ses light is on that if you floor your car or just give it a decent amount of gas that ur car doesnt use its full potential power, so that it wont mess anything up...is this true...i have my doubts ...

Depends on the code, some can put the car into limp mode - engine or trans (A4) can be affected.
