Oil Change light?

Change oil light wont turn off even though i hit the odometer/oil reset button? any help

It should - key was on and you pressed and HELD it down for a few seconds? You can also do it by turning the key on, don't start car and fully depress the gas pedal 3 or 4 times. Won't flash but should be off on your next start.

not to hijack the thread or anything, but what do you do to keep it off? it always comes on when i turn on the car and stays on for about 15 mins.

Even after resetting it? Just reset it with the pedal method or trip/oil reset button. Mines only come on a couple times, not for 15 min though...last time it stayed on after startup went off before I got out of a parking lot. Reset it when I got home.

stupid thing hardly ever goes off. it doesnt throw any codes. it just stays on.

Bringing this back to the top because I have the same problem. I've hit the Trip/Oil reset button so many times....held it in for 30 seconds or more (suppose to be only 12) and it wont go out
