Default Coolant leak. Help!!

I've spent the last month or so installing my new motor. I got it done however when I was pouring coolant in the radiator and then coolant starting pouring out of the block near the back of the block and passenger side.

I can feel around and the block is dry so that makes me think its not a freeze plug or something. I dont think I put the small gasket things back on the coolant crossover lines, but would that make it gush out???

Sounds like the freeze plug to me. Did you use teflon tape on that sucker?? Aren't many things on that side of the motor that could cause that. I'd check the crossover pipes too... don't think mine had a removable gasket on those.. GL

It's a pretty heavy leak when it starts to get alot of antifreeze in the system. Does the coolant even run through the crossover pipes?

It turns out there was a plug towards the back of the passenger side head that we had forgotten to swap over to the new engine. So I took it off my old heads and fixed it up. Car is running great
