electric fans keep crapping

electric fans keep crapping 
this is the second time they stopped working, the first time i just took it to a shop cuz i was lazy but this time i want to figure out wtf is wrong with them.
i found a ground with a fuse missing so i replaced the fuse but it did nothing
i was just wondering what i should look for. not only does this screw me out of air conditioning but my car overheats if im not going at least around 50mph and i have to drive to school every couple of days in 5 oclock trafficany opinions would help
there are three fuses that control the cooling of the car...make sure youve check all three...if there fine, id check the thermostat....if that checks out, id look at the fan motors themselves....
