Default Sorry, another Dex-Cool thread

So, last week I bought my 98 T/A and I noticed that it has the green coolant in it. I've heard of people having problems with Dexcool, but our 97 caddy never has. Also, I hear the green stuff is bad for the LS1's. should I be concerned that the car has the green stuff in it? It seems to be running fine.

Yeah as long as it was flushed its ok. The lower miles on the motor the better as well. Anything over 60,000 miles and i would always put back in the same as what i took out .

The mixing is not what causes it to clump. Exposure to air is what causes it to clump. Example intake, water pump, bad radiator cap, crack in radiator all cause the clumping or dex a death as we call it.
