misfiring and backfiring help

98 z28, almost 80,000 miles.

Recently had plugs done about 6 months ago, upgraded fuel pump.

Car keeps back firing, idling rough want to die.

Hasnt thrown a code.

any ideas of what it can be?

Need help as this is my daily driver.
all things done to the car are in sig.

Bad gas would be my guess since I just had the same problem. Water in the fuel equals a lot of time this weekend cussing the local station I will never get fuel from again.

no put 100 octan in my fuel noid was leaking BLAH slkfjlkfdj

My car did that when i had an exhaust leak where the header meets the heads..
