headlight gear question
headlight gear question hi all
i replaced my drivers side headlight motor with the brass gear about a year ago..now the grrrrr noise is back when i close the lights...any thoughts..should i buy a new motor or is this unit fixable..anyone else encounter this

oh man..bummer. the motor itself is probably fine. did you make sure that the metal tabs were pressed flush against the motor (just use a small hammer and a little punch)? if they werent, that causes too much play and even the brass gears will strip.
