I need to get rid of this vibration!

mine too '99 Formula 5.7 with an auto. all bone stock. 90k on the clock.
vibration only in 3rd gear. doesnt matter what RPM's. i use to only feel the vibration when i would down shift from OD into 3rd. but now i can feel it when taking off from a light as soon as the car shifts into 3rd. then goes away in OD. No vibration in 1st or 2nd.
i had a different vibration a while back. would do a thump thump thump while coasting down hill at 20-30 mph. had the pinon bearing and wheel bearings replaced then that thump went away.
but i still have the 3rd gear vibration.
