Rear Fluid Just wondering how many quarts of rear fluid are in stock 10 bolts i will be rebuilding mine shortly and want to use royal purple just curious how many qt. i need to buy
Don't forget to add some friction additive if your rear has a limited slip (posi) unit.
I copied/pasted this info from the sticky at the top. Get it from a GM dealer.
Limited-Slip Axle Lubricant Additive (4oz needed for full fill) = 1052358

It appears you may not need it if you have the TORSEN equipped rear.
