throttle cable trouble

throttle cable trouble So I'm checking the oil on the z, when I notice that the yellow clip that holds the throttle cable onto the bracket is broken. When I removed it
to get closer look the back part of the clip just chipped off.
Now it won't retain on the bracket. Do I have to buy a tc or can I just replace the clip? It seems the under hood temps are to blame. Has this happend to you?

I think mine did the same thing, but I can't be sure without a visual. I drilled a small hole through the plastic where a hole is in the metal bracket. I found a pretty small sheet-metal screw, and inserted it. It fixed my issue. If you have the same problem, give it a try.
