Guage lights

Guage lights welllllllllll, we were crimping the 2 foglight wires that broke today in the accident, and when we were doing it it made a little spark. didnt really think nothing of it, but when I got in the car the damn guage lights wont come on!
I was thinking maybe the wires arent connected right and need to be re-crimped but wanted to hear what yall have to suggest first. Already checked all the fuses and theyre fine. the headlights come up, the dome light comes on, and the radio light for the time and station comes on but the rest of the interior lights dont.
