Weird & Goofy Problem
Weird & Goofy Problem Here is the situation, after swapping engine & harness, pcm entire dash and harness to another car. I now have this very loud clicking-clunking noise from under the dash when the door is open with the key in the ACCY pos.
It sounded like it was coming from the windshield wiper motor. Pulled the fuse and it stopped. (Note this was removed as well, and it is not common to the rest of the car.) Was thinking it was looking for a park position or something with its control. Would stop when wipers were turned on as well. But as soon as I turned it off started up with the noise. Or close the door and it will stop. Very weird!
Is there a control or delay unit for this system?
Or is it part of the motor?
All functions of the wiper work fine.
