Default Big problems stalling, backfiring, stumbling help please

Alright this whole time the car has had a rough idle, and if you stepped on it quick it would stumble. So replaced plugs wires coil. Now a while long after that it is starting to buck when drving. Now all of a sudden I go to start the car and it started up rough as hell backfired and stalled. try starting again hard as hell then rough as hell wanted to stall out so keep with the gas and backfiring boom stall. You cant even keep it running and if you raise the rpm up to at least 2000 if you are lucky otherwise it just backfiring and stalls. the motor just feels like it wants to blow up out of the car its running that rough. But it has been good for a long time now all of sudden its done. This morning/ afternoon it was fine still rough idle but not bad, now tonight bam its totally different.

Now if I could have a starting point where to start looking it would be great.

thanks for any help

174000 km on motor. maybe opti??? igntion module maybe coil but it is not that old like a couple months but when installed it was great. plugs and wires are right not burnt. I did the plugs wires coil like 3 months ago. I did get gas here 2 days ago maybe gas but its premium and the motor is really bad running like the backifiring and hard starting and stalling so that cant be gas

id change the opti, but also check to make sure your water pump isn't leaking out onto your opti...if that's the case, your new opti will be a gonner shortly after

alright i am looking for a new opti now. But is that definetly the case that the opti is shot or can it still be the icm. The coil is new so I rule that out.

Also I blew out the opti with the air compressor and then erased the code and it has not come back yet. I let the car run which was alot alot better and there is no code popping up again. So maybe it was full of moisture due to winter. And the water pump is good. But I will still go and buy a new opti cause the seal on it leaking so I cant use the vacuum hoses to it cause it leaks vacuum through the opti housing. So i have to manually suck the moisture for now.

Thanks for the help
