Ok so I found a Radiator fluid leak in a hose that connects to the pulley/belt tensioner system, its the hose that the fluid runs OUT of, and into the firewall, im guessing its the hose that the coolant runs through to go to my heater for my car. So anyway, the leak is inbetween these 2 metal clamps that the factory uses to splice the hose together, so i was considering just cutting that factory splice out and making my own. Putting a new copper pipe inbetween and inside the hose and clamping it myself. Good idea? Any better idea's? Anyone had any similar problems with hoses and leaks before? Please help and let me know, give me your input. Also I had another idea, just a simpler one to use temporarily, possibly finding some good adhesive tape or automotive engine tape of some kind and rapping it around the factory *** splice job they did, and then putting another rubber hose around it on top of the tape and then clamping that down just over the existing one. At least that way the leak will be covered, think that would hold? Any good idea's? Help! My email address is
