window motor R&R

Used shoebox's directions, by myself took a little under an hour. The one I took out was a reman, because it didn't have rivets, so that made my life easier. Got the autozone one, lifetime warranty. Install was easy, only thing was that I had to plug it in and lower it little by little to line up the gears. Once that happened it was easy to do, I would suggest putting in ONE bolt first to line it up and have it hang there so the others are easy to align. Now my passenger window is faster too, am I going insane or is this possible because GM runs the pass. window off the driver one? Now I can roll my tinted windows down at the gas station, great.

Adding the motor helped everything else on that circuit. The new brushes and windings allow for better current flow.

If that is true, unpluggin the drivers side window switch shouldnt affect the passenger side....but if you try this, you will see that it makes your passenger side inoperable.
