100k mile tuneup
I am about to hit the 100k mark and was wondering what I should do as a tune up? I've already got new plugs and injectors, so I was thinking...
New shocks/struts (whichever these use)
Recharge AC
Fuel filter/oil filter
Tranny flush
What else would you all do?

shoot, if she is still kicking fine once she hits the 100k mile mark. keep on trucking, i wouldnt worry about. if you start flushing everything, she might start messing up. especially an engine flush, ive never seen good things come from that.

I bought my car with 116K on it and flushed ALL the fuilds and did all the basic tune up stuff (plugs, wires, PVC, fuel filter, air filter, exc) and it runs as good as my 60k and 75k ls1 cars that I had before

100K mile maintenance depends on what you've done so far and when the last time you did certain things was. For example, if you just changed the plugs at 90K, there's no point in doing again at 100K...., etc.
Be careful with this one. If your trans fluid has never been changed in 100K, you might cause more problems than good if you flush it now.

DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do a tranny flush. You wont leave the shop and that is a 50/50 odd right there. The new fluid has a lot stronger detergents than the worn out fluid and will wipe all the varnish off of things and you will have a slipping tranny in NO TIME.
Engine flush...dont do it. You will most likely wipe the varnish off the bottom of the pan and clog the oil pick-up tube.
I know on my 170K mile LT1 just running shell rotella 15-40 filled my oil filter with jello like crap every 3-500 miles until it was all flushed out, I cant imaging what I would have stopped up with an engine flush!

Auto tranny...if it hasnt been changed every 15-20K miles, DO NOT DO IT! EVER!! If the fluid isnt dark, its okay, if it is dark, its beyond help. Just leave it be! It will thank you by not crapping out and slipping 10 miles after your new fluid rips all the old, varnished clutches apart.

The valves need replacing from time to time because they get gumed up with oil vapor, etc. It's an extremely cheap part. Maybe $7 from a dealer or less from a chain parts store.

21mpg in the city isn't bad. I only get about 19-20 in the city with my 3.8L V6s in my Monte and Bonneville.
