Busted header Hey guys I have a 98 Z28 Camaro with long tube Jet Hot headers with an off road y-pipe. The car has been lowered 1 1/2 inches. I was driving the other night and did not see a speed bump and hit my y-pipe on it fairly hard. I've hit many times before but not this hard. While looking over my car the other day I noticed that the flang of my passeger side header was cracked. It cracked just above every bolt on the flang. Its still firmly attached and its not leaking at all. I have the metal gaskets on it. Will this cause any problems if I leave it as is? Everyone knows how expensive and what a pain in the *** longtubes are for the ls1. If it does develop a leak down the road will it cause any problems in my engine immediatly? Thanks for your input.
