Default diff fill plug stripping

I am in the process of changing the rear fluid. I drained everything, put the cover back on with a new gasket and all. I am trying to go get my fill plug off but it wont go. I used the end of a 3/8 rachet to do it, no luck. The thing just wont move. I attached a extention to the rachet, the extention starts to bend and the thing wont budge. I am doing this on the ground in 23 degree temp's, so I took a propane torch and heated up the area for a while and the thing wont go. At this point, it is a little striped. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this sucker out at this point?

Drive an extension into it and use an impact. Thats probably the only way it will come out.
