Window knocking problem

Window knocking problem I have a knocking sound coming from my driver side window when it gets to the top. It shakes hard and makes a loud knock every time so I have to be real gentle with it and try to stop raising it before it gets up.
Before I take the panel off and start messing with stuff, has this happened to anyone else and what should I prepare for? I tried a search but came up short. Thanks in advance if anyone knows what the heck this is.
